Saturday Book Review- Crossing The Wire

Today’s Saturday book review title is “Crossing the Wire” by Will Hobbs. It is a young adult book that reads quickly and envelops you in an unforgettable story of the human spirit.

When young Victor Flores finds that his crops no longer can provide for his family he must travel North under the wire for a chance at survival. Hobbs weaves a relentless story of the sad reality that is the US boarder between Mexico and the daring individuals that pass between. Things are not as black and white as it seems.

Will Hobbs is always an author that immediately captures my attention. From word wine he drops you into a story that feels and reads like his own life experiences. Hobbs has a way with his words that makes you forget your surroundings and dig in to his words.

    I read this book back when I was in school, and it really is such a great piece, I’m not likely to forget it anytime soon 😂
